Our client in Stamford, CT is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to lead their Human Resource department. This company is a stable and growing hedge fund that enjoys promoting from within. They are looking for a generalist with minimum 5-7 years of experience within a large company. The person must be a proactive thinker who is willing to "think outside the box" ! This is an excellent opportunity for a person with an HR background that enjoys the financial services industry!
Working hours: 8am-530pm
Responsiblities include, but are not limited to:
-Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist
-Bachelors degree required
-Previous experience dealing with on boarding and benefits is a MUST
-Practice a high level of confidentiality
-Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
-Recuit for positions
-Write job descriptions
-Employee development
-Must have entreprenurial spirit
-Must be a detail and goal oriented proactive thinker
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Job focus and flexibility are extremely important in regards to overtime and job functions
